About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CISO to join our fast-growing team. You will provide global leadership and strategy for our products and our company’s IT that will utilize your expertise in product security, information security, and cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will bring an established track record of success as the top Information Security leader for a global organization, preferably within SaaS or Vendor companies.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in computer science or engineering or equivalent experience that is relevant to the role
  • 5+ years of product security, information security, and cybersecurity experience required
  • 2+ years of leadership experience and creating Information Security strategies and plans
  • Expert understanding of Information Security including security technology architecture within products and the strategy and execution of company security programs and standards
  • Prior experience with cloud and on-premise computing infrastructures involving IaaS/SaaS/PaaS services is required
  • Understanding and applying Secure Software Development Life Cycle methodologies, procedures, and tools
  • Experience in realizing the security aspects of global privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA and evaluating, implementing, and maintaining compliance frameworks like ISO27001, HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP, etc.
  • Proven success working with all levels of employees and externals – from technical (developers, system, networking, helpdesk, DevOps, and so on) to executives and top management – explaining and guiding regarding simple to complex topics
  • Ability to provide a baseline to innovative leadership and thinking to and cross-functional multiple teams
  • Willing to reply to detailed security questionnaires required by our potential and existing customers (mostly in English)
  • Willing to write security documents like policies (Risk, security plan, etc.) and procedures (technical and operational) (mostly in English)
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills in both Hebrew and English (additional languages are a plus)
  • High proficiency in utilizing office-related software (Email, Word processor, Spreadsheet, Presentation, and similar)

  • Explain complex technical and security concepts and issues to a technical and non-technical audience in both writing and verbally
  • A high degree of presentation and training skills both in person and via live or recorded video
  • High level of moral and ethical sense, understanding, and proactive approach
  • A fun to communicate with, open, flexible, and balanced team player

Preferred

  • CISSP and/or CISM non-expired certification(s)
  • Prior experience with a company that has gone through a rapid scale and certification process is a strong plus
  • Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing Information Security team (but notice that currently, it is a “One-man show” role)
  • Basic understanding of AI fundamentals and concepts

What You'll Be Doing

  • Be the go-to top leader, consultant, and expert in the company for anything that is digital security-related
  • Create and scale a rolling global information security strategy and roadmap to continuously enhance the security of our company and of our platform that process and store our customers’ data
  • Develop and review global security programs and policies
  • Partner with our Product, Engineering, IT, Operations, Sales, Legal, and Research teams to create innovative and best-in-class security architecture within our products and our IT
  • Actively monitor security technology opportunities to establish highly effective global solutions designed to prevent and detect advanced threats to the company networks and systems
  • Develop KPIs and management metrics to track the progress and effectiveness of the global information security program
  • Communicate directly with key customers to explain our Security products and features
  • Ensure BeyondMind’s information assets are constantly being monitored for security threats, including establishing and overseeing our global incident response program
  • Oversee and maintain our status of ISO 27001 and HIPAA compliance
  • Achieve needed compliance with relevant various laws, regulations, standards, and certificates as the need arise
